Cockatoo Fun!

Well, I didn't get much writing done today, but I had a lot of fun. My husband and I went to Richmond, to see our son and his girlfriend. Our son is going to VCU and plans to become a dentist. His girlfriend attends VCU, too, and is interested in homeland security. So we had a great time eating out at BJ's. Then we returned to their apartment and my son's girlfriend brought her naked-eye cockatoo out. The first time he settled on my shoulder, I jerked, but I soon got used to him sitting there and I stroked him, petted him, etc., and before long we were good friends - so good in fact that he cried when I left. My son's girlfriend took photos of me with the bird on my shoulder. When she sends them to me, I'll post them here. Now I'd better get off of here and do some writing! Have a nice night.
